Exploded Optic Sweet Dough

30" x 30" · Acrylic on canvas

I tried painting this piece 3 years ago. It was really complicated for me. I started over recently and it went really well. I don't know if you're like me but evaluating my own progress is difficult. This painting allowed me to see that I have made progress. I do paint and draw every day… and I keep repeating to myself: ''good things will happen, if I keep my focus''. I can assure you that I'm really focused. I know one painting will not define me but thousands of paintings will. Well, the first half thousand is behind me now. I never would have imagined that I would have sold over 500 paintings in my life, even less in the first 5 years. Thank you to all of you amazing art collectors! If you own one of my paintings, you own 1/500 of my art. I feel grateful and blessed for you all!
